Being “the best” at anything is a hard claim to make.
And if you’ve read our blog for any amount of time, you’ll know we shy away from bold claims, and would rather just tell you what worked for us and may work for you.
But not this time. The stroller is the backbone of your trip with littles, and that means it must be the best.
So here it is: the Evenflo Urbini Reversi. Everything about it is awesome, except the cup holder. Ditch that immediately. Add some hanging hooks or a mommy hook instead.

Why do we love it so much?
- It’s affordable (we got ours on sale for $69 CAD at Walmart) so it’s not a big loss if it were to eventually break.
- It’s reversible, allowing your little to face forward or backward depending on the mood
- It’s collapsable and gate-checkable and has a good amount of storage underneath for sweaters, jackets, and the “it’s toooooo heaaavy” carry-on
- It’s proven to be tough enough to handle being gate checked on dozens of flights
- We’ve pushed, pulled and dragged this stroller through sand, snow, rain and mud in 10 countries. Four years in, it’s still going strong.

The cons?
- The little plastic tires struggle in deep snow (obviously) and tend to skim on polished floors.
- You need two free hands to open or close it.

The last word: the Evenflo Urbini Reversi not a fancy stroller. It’s not meant to be. This is a stroller we strictly use when traveling — for adventures closer to home, we love our old Phil & Ted stroller.
Are there places we didn’t — or couldn’t — use a stroller?
